The healer listens with the intellect as well as the intuition - a potent form of inner wisdom not influenced by the rational mind. The healer may hear a small voice inside that commits to the well-being of the client. Sometimes a snap-shot-like flash, a hunch, a gut feeling, a physical sensation, or even a dream. Whatever the form, it is always keeping an eye on our bodies and spirits, letting us know if something is out of balance and harmony. But you must make a commitment to be in it completely to heal.
Intuitive healing is an alternative practice that relies on the use of the five senses to locate and correct imbalances in the energy flow within the body. Visualization and focused thinking are often critical components in the intuitive healing process.
With the assistance of the practitioner, the patient is helped to visualize the blockage and slowly begin to break that blockage down; this is done by envisioning that the blockage is being dismantled piece by piece, or that it is transformed into healing light and slowly begins to melt away. Whatever the imagery used, the result is the energy path is clear of any obstruction once again, and the body will soon be back in balance.
