Neuro-Linguistic Programming

What is NLP?

NLP stands for Neuro-Linguistic Programming. Neuro refers to your neurology; Linguistic refers to language; programming refers to how that neural language functions. In other words, NLP is the language of the mind!

It is a method of influencing brain behavior (the "neuro" part) through the use of language (the "linguistic" part) and other types of communication to enable a person to "recode" the way the brain responds to stimuli (that's the "programming.")

It is a system of alternative therapy based on this which seeks to change the patterns of mental and emotional behavior.

The mind takes information that we perceive through our five physical senses and translates it into chemistry for the rest of the body to understand. The majority of the time what we conscious think we believe and what is taking lace within (unconsciously) are two entirely different things; this is the kind of relationship that most of us have with our unconscious mind. We might think we are “ordering up” more money, a happy, healthy relationship, peace with our family members, and being able to stick to a healthy diet…but unless that’s what showing up, then something is probably getting lost in translation.

You may be wondering why you haven't been unsuccessful – your subconscious is following its commitments and playing all your subconscious programs. The subconscious holds the very thing you want to change. And reprogramming your subconscious may be just what you needed.
